Exploratory Meeting with NORSU
On June 24, 2026, Nature’s Spring Foundation, Inc. (NSFI) held an exploratory meeting with Negros Oriental State University (NORSU) at Uni Bistro to discuss a potential partnership to advance education, community development, and environmental sustainability.
Representing NSFI were Ms. Proleta N. Gomez, Executive Director; Ms. Jelyn Banga, Volunteer Program and Partnership Manager; Ms. Maricar P. Regulacion, Social Welfare Officer; Ms. Karina Monika M. Chavez, Program Officer for Education; and Mr. Ramil Rendal, Forest Extension Officer.
Representing NORSU were Dr. Cesar P. Estrope, Vice President for Student Affairs and Services; Dr. Ryan O. Tayco, Campus Director; Ms. Sheila May L. Escorial, Scholarship Program Unit Head; and Dr. Josie Rodriguez, Forestry Instructor.
The meeting focused on aligning NSFI’s community initiatives with NORSU’s institutional priorities, opening opportunities for collaborative programs in scholarship support, community outreach, and environmental conservation. Through this shared commitment, both institutions envision creating meaningful and sustainable initiatives that will empower students and strengthen communities.
