NSFI Explored Potential Partnership Opportunities in Negros Oriental and Siquijor

Nature Spring Foundation, INC. (NSFI) conducted a series of of exploratory meetings with potential implementing partners in Negros Oriental and Siquijor Island from June 22 to 26, 2026, as part of its 2026-2030 strategic planning process.

The exploratory meetings were carried out by the NSFI Team, namely Ms. Proleta N. Gomez, NSFI Executive Director; Ms. Jelyn V. Banga, NSFI Interim VPPM; and Mr. Ramil Rendal, NSFI Forest Extension Officer. Through these engagements, the team sought to meet with key organizations, institutions, and community stakeholders to gain a deeper understanding of their mandates, initiatives, areas of expertise, and geographic presence.

Among the identified potential partners were:

Coral Reef and Rainforest Conservation Project in Dumanhog, Siquijor Island

Binoongan Women’s Association in Enrique Villanueva, Siquijor

These meetings serve as an opportunity for NSFI to explore possible areas for collaboration, particularly in strengthening its Environmental Program and expanding its networks of strategic partners. The activity also allowed the foundation to identify shared priorities, document potential partnership opportunities, and establish initial connections that may support the successful implementation of NSFI’s programs in the next five years.

Through meaningful dialogue and partnership-building, NSFI continues to advance its commitment to environmental stewardship, sustainable community development, and collaboration action toward empowered and resilient communities.
