Education College Scholarship Program – Grants Monitoring Visit
On June 23, 2026, Nature’s Spring Foundation, Inc. (NSFI), in partnership with Dumaguete Kalauman Center for Development, Inc. (DKCDI), successfully conducted a Grants Monitoring Visit to strengthen the implementation of the NSFI-DKCDI College Scholarship Program.
The program currently supports 39 scholars—20 from Negros Oriental and 19 from Siquijor. Since its launch in 2023 with Batch 1 and the addition of Batch 2 in 2024, the partnership has remained committed to empowering deserving students through education.
The monitoring visit served as an opportunity to:
✅ Reintroduce NSFI and the NSFI-DKCDI Scholarship Program.
✅ Share updates on grant implementation, partnership progress, and key milestones.
✅ Discuss current needs and concerns.
✅ Identify actionable steps to further strengthen the program and ensure continued support for our scholars.
Representing NSFI were Ms. Proleta N. Gomez, Executive Director; Ms. Kim Chavez, Program Officer – Education; and Ms. Maricar Regulacion, RSW, Social Welfare Officer.
Representing DKCDI were Ms. Judith Alpuerto, BOT Secretary; Ms. Liberty Murillo, Cashier; Ms. Ria Nesty Guillepa, Bookkeeper; and Ms. Chrisdine Gloria, Secretary.
Together, NSFI and DKCDI remain steadfast in creating opportunities through education and building brighter futures for the youth of Negros Oriental and Siquijor.
