Nature Spring Foundation, INC., continues earthquake water assistance in Glen, Sarangani Province

Following the 7.8 magnitude earthquake, Nature’s Spring Foundation, Inc. (NSFI) through its Disaster Emergency Water Supply (DEWS) program, continued its humanitarian relief by providing safe drinking water assistance to earthquake-affected communities in Glan, Sarangani Province on June 14, 2026.

In partnership with the Davao del Norte Persons with Disability Association (DAVNOR PWD Association), the relief operation was led by Distribution Coordinator Marsie Mongkil and focused on reaching families in affected and remote areas.

The 5-liter Nature’s Spring Purified Water was transported from General Santos City to Glan and distributed to communities in the following areas:

• Barangay Kaltuad (remote mountain village)

• Barangay New Aklan

• Barangay E. Alegado

• Barangay Sufatubo

• Barangay Small Margus

The activity involved coordination with local volunteers, PWD leaders, barangay representatives, and community partners to ensure that drinking water assistance reached vulnerable families, including persons with disabilities and senior citizens.

As earthquake-affected communities continue to experience challenges in accessing safe and reliable drinking water, NSFI remains committed to sustaining its relief efforts and extending support to families in need, especially those in hard-to-reach areas.

Nature’s Spring Foundation, Inc. expresses its appreciation to the Center for Disaster Preparedness (CDP), the DAVNOR PWD Association, volunteers, and all other individuals and organizations who contributed to these ongoing relief efforts.
